Jessica Malms is a curious and multi-faceted young woman whose life experiences, determination and personality have given her an open mind as well as a clear understanding of her passions.
Having lived and worked in Switzerland, the Bahamas and the United States Jessica has gained a profound awareness and respect for different cultures and languages. These international work experiences have given her exposure to various creative and technical design approaches. To that end, she is fluent in spoken and written German, Swiss German, English and also commands an elementary proficiency of French. These multi-cultural experiences have given Jessica the ability to easily adapt to new environments and changing situations.
Jessica received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in architecture and her Masters of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Following graduation her main passion within the realm of architecture has been environmentally conscious and sustainable design. Jessica’s interest in sustainability and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) rating system ultimately led her to attain accreditation as a LEED Green Associate.
Jessica’s knowledge of software including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator allows her to effectively communicate her designs in a variety of mediums ranging from simple line drawings to detailed renderings and presentations.
In addition to Architecture, Jessica continues to explore, gain valuable knowledge in and remains open to opportunities in other design industries including Graphic Design, Photography, Landscape Design and Advertising.
