‘Process’ is deliberate yet undefined, it is up to the user to sculpt it and make it distinct. Once defined it is a powerful and guiding vehicle in turning ideas and thoughts into solutions. This small project explores ‘process’ using Photography as the origin and Architecture as the result. Five Photographs were chosen, studied, observed and defined as ‘reflection’, ‘education’, ‘celebration’, ‘exploration’ and ‘discovery’. After defining each photo’s meaning and experience, key elements were identified, extracted and translated into an architectural language expressed in five small models. This process allowed a 2 dimensional experience to be transformed into a 3 dimensional environment.
